Booking:

  • Bookable until 14 days prior to departure
  • Can only be booked online
  • Exclusively for SMILE members
  • For min. 7% of the daily capacity and not available on all departures 

Validity:

  • The ticket will only be accepted for the booked departure.
  • If you arrive at the harbor earlier than the requested check-in time for the booked ferry departure a new ticket must be bought, or you will have to wait for the booked departure.
  • If you ckeck-in at the harbor later than 15 min. before the booked departure the ticket has expired and cannot be used anymore.

Rebooking:

  • Rebookings are not possible.

Cancellation:

  • Cancellation and refund is only possible with the Refund Service.
  • The Refund Service is bookable for additionally EUR 15 when booking the ticket online.
  • After purchasing your ticket, you generally have a 24-hour right of cancellation.

Refund-Service:

  • For only EUR 15 the Ticket Returns Service can also be booked for cancelling and refunding unused tickets, unused journeys or extras (provided these are identified by a separate price on your booking confirmation).
  • Unused tickets or unused journeys as well as pre-booked on-board meals can be cancelled and refunded. If you cancel an unused ticket, the full price of the ticket is refunded. When cancelling partly used tickets, the amount left over from the unused services is refunded. Only completely unused combination passages are refundable. Partly used day-tickets or campaign tickets are non-refundable. The handling fee and the price of the Ticket Returns Service are non-refundable. Valid for 3 months after your first booked departure. No refunds possible in the event of a late cancellation.
  • Please note that unused tickets can be cancelled under “My Booking” at mybooking.scandlines.de. The cancellation of partly used tickets and the application for a refund must be confirmed in writing at the Scandlines Service Center; the booking number must be stated and it must be accompanied by any unused vouchers.
  • You can only buy the Ticket Returns Service together with your ticket.

Booking:

  • If the ticket is prebooked in the Service Center or bought in the manual lane at the check-in in the harbor a Handling Fee of EUR 10.00 will be applied.
     

Validity:

  • Valid for the booked departure and for all other departures with free space on the same day.
  • The ticket will be accepted for the booked departure and all departures of the booked calendar day as long as free capacity is available. By arrival in the harbor on an earlier day than the booked traveling day, the ticket can be rebooked paying an admin fee of EUR 27. In case of a rebooking to a more expensive departure or ticket type the price difference is paid together with the rebooking. 

Rebooking:

  • A rebooking is only possible through the Scandlines Service Centre until to 2 hours before the booked departure.
  • In case of a difference in the ticket price to a higher tariff or to a more expensive departure, this price difference is to be paid immediately.
  • With every rebooking, the Scandlines Service Centre charges an administration fee of EUR 27 per ferry ticket.

** During high season you will receive a cashback voucher on your return journey when checking in that can then be used on board or exchanged into cash. If you use the voucher for payment at one of our cashier on board and the billing amount is less than the value of the voucher, the difference will be paid out in cash (in EUR).

Easy Return:
The ticket is valid for the booked outward journey and all other departures with free capacity on the same day. The return ticket on the same route is valid for the booked day and all other free capacity departures until the 2nd of January 2019.

Change and cancellation:
The Easy Return ticket has the same change and cancellation conditions as the Economy EXTRA tarif. Cancellation and refund only possible with Refund Service.

 

Minibreak-Ticket

Change and cancellation: 

The Minibreak-Ticket has the same change and cancellation conditions as the Economy EXTRA tarif.

Minibreak-Tickets have limited number of tickets and departures.
