Buy a ticket at the harbour

It’s quick and easy to buy a ticket from the machine in the Blue lane. 

You can pay with:

• Payment card
  (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Electron, JCB, Diners Club, American Express)
• Bizz/EasyGo

Paying with cash? Then drive to the Yellow lane.

The Blue lane can be found by following the blue sign with the white car.

In the Yellow lane, you can buy a ticket from one of our employees.

Please note: A handling fee of 15 EUR will be added to tickets purchased in the Yellow lane. 

The following forms of payment can be used in the Yellow lane:

• Cash
• Payment card
  (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Electron, JCB, Diners Club, American Express)

Want to avoid paying a handling fee?

Book your ticket at scandlines.com or in the Blue lane, where you can pay by payment card and Bizz/EasyGo. 

The Yellow lane can be found by following the yellow sign with the black icons.

In Rødby and Puttgarden:

• Buy your ticket at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure via the Yellow lane, where a member of staff will be waiting.

(No handling fee will be charged for pedestrian tickets and bicycle add-ons purchased at the harbour in the Yellow lane)

In Gedser:

• Buy your ticket from a machine in the terminal building no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.

In Rostock:

• Buy a boarding pass from a machine in the Fährcenter building up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.
• If you want to bring a bicycle on board, buy a bicycle add-on and passenger ticket the Yellow lane, where a member of staff will be waiting.
