Most of our tickets can be rebooked or cancelled online or by contacting customer services.

    Everything you need to know before boarding the ferry so you can have a great start to your trip.

  • Download the Scandlines app

    Download our app to save all the information you need for your journey in one location, including your tickets, departure times and SMILE card.

  • Handling fee

    Tickets purchased at the harbour and via customer services are subject to a handling fee.

  • Vehicle lengths and definitions

    Make sure you know the length of your vehicle before booking a ticket.

  • Animals on board

    You're welcome to bring small pets, such as dogs and cats, on board the ferry.

  • Lost & found

    If you've left something behind on the ferry, we'll hold on to it in either Puttgarden or Gedser.

  • Disability cars and passengers with reduced mobility

    We’ll help you board the ferry in the manned check-in lane.

  • Customs regulations

    Please bear customs regulations in mind when buying duty-free goods on the ferry or in our BorderShop.

  • Report damage or injury

    If you are injured or your vehicle or luggage suffer any damage during the journey, make sure you notify our staff before leaving the ferry.

  • File a complaint

    We always try to provide the best possible service, but in the event that you're not satisfied with a product or service, please let us know by filing a complaint.

  • Crossing times

    We have 60 departures every day across our two routes – the 45-minute Puttgarden-Rødby crossing and the 2-hour Rostock-Gedser crossing.
